Yadkin County Animal Shelter

This is the NEW Yadkin County Gas Chamber, which replaced the box featured in the PETA video. The shelter is located in Yadkinville, North Carolina. Notice the "Danger" sign on front of the chamber. Workers using the gas chamber are at risk of carbon monoxide poisoning, and even death.
Shelter Hours are from 8:00-5:00, Monday through Friday

For the past 7 years, no animals were allowed to be adopted from the shelter unless they came in with a valid rabies tag. The rest were euthanized. In 2005, the decision was made to make all animals available for adoption! Come out to Yadkinville and save a life today.
